I am a Senior Policy Analyst at the Bipartisan Policy Center with their Structural Democracy project where I work on issues related to congressional modernization and electoral systems reform. My research focuses on the politics and procedures of the U.S. Congress with an emphasis on congressional capacity and the role of debate and procedure in representation and policymaking.
Previously, I served as APSA Public Service Fellow and Professional Staff for the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. I have also been an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Government at Georgetown University.
I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2022.
