About Me:
I am the Associate Director of the Structural Democracy project at the Bipartisan Policy Center where I work on issues related to the healthy functioning of our governing institutions and electoral systems reform. My research primarily focuses on the politics and procedures of the U.S. Congress with an emphasis on congressional capacity and the role of debate and procedure in representation and policymaking.
I currently serve as a council member and president-elect of the National Capital Area Political Science Association (NCAPSA). Previously, I served as the APSA Public Service Fellow and Professional Staff member for the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. I have also been an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Government at Georgetown University.
I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2022.
